Position: Architect

Location: Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Type of Employment: Part-Time (20 hours/week) with transition to Full-Time (40 hours/week) based on performance

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our team in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, starting with the Leipzig project. The role focuses on understanding zoning regulations and Bebauungsplan (B-Plan) requirements to adapt Instabuilt’s modular housing solutions to designated land parcels. The position begins as part-time, with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and project demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with 
    zoning regulations
     and 
    Bebauungsplan (B-Plan)
     requirements.
  • Conduct 
    site and land analysis
     (surveys, boundaries, setbacks, height restrictions).
  • Adapt 
    Instabuilt modular housing solutions
     (1M–3M configurations) for 1–4 story buildings.
  • Prepare 
    designs, presentations, and catalogs
     for housing modules and related infrastructure (stairs, elevators, storage, garages).
  • Collaborate with internal teams, planning authorities, and contractors for 
    project approvals and execution
    .
  • Support the 
    finalization of the Leipzig multifamily project
     in alignment with technical directives.

Qualifications

  • Degree in 
    Architecture
     or related field.
  • Must be a licensed Architect.
  • Experience in 
    modular housing
     and German zoning/B-Plan compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of 
    German building regulations and permitting processes
    .
  • Proficiency in 
    AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
    .
  • Fluency in 
    English
    ; 
    German proficiency
     is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to work 
    independently and collaboratively
     in international teams.

Employment Conditions

  • Contract:
     Part-time (20h/week), with transition to full-time until 

     and potential extension.

  • Salary:
     Competitive, based on qualifications, including overtime/holiday compensation.
  • Work Location:
     Baden-Württemberg (with potential for partial remote work).
