Role Description
As a Social Media Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring social media initiatives to engage audiences and support organizational goals. Your responsibilities include:

- Creating, curating, and scheduling engaging content, including graphics, videos, and posts aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitoring daily social media activity, responding to comments, and fostering positive audience engagement.
- Conducting research on social media trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Managing paid social media campaigns, optimizing performance, and reporting on ROI.
- Tracking and analyzing key metrics, preparing performance reports, and recommending improvements.
- Staying up to date with platform updates, emerging technologies, and content trends.
- Supporting broader marketing campaigns through social media integration.
- Assisting in community management, influencer collaborations, and online engagement initiatives.
This role requires creativity, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills to maintain a consistent and impactful digital presence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations.
- Proven ability to create engaging content tailored to different platforms.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Experience with paid social media advertising and campaign optimization.
- Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing software.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to improve performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing trends is a plus.
