Job Description
Responsible for leading the General Engineering, Façade & Sustainability activities globally. The Global Director for Building Service Line & Sustainability will drive growth and operational efficiency. This role involves developing the Energy & Sustainable City Business Line in the US, integrating acquisitions, transforming practices to meet climate challenges, and executing offshoring strategies to optimize costs and talent management. Collaboration with executive and regional teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy: Develop and lead strategic plans aligned with global and group objectives. Identify markets, set guidelines, analyze trends, and implement performance indicators.
- Production: Oversee operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Develop technical networks, recruit key personnel, and ensure safety standards.
- Commercial & Finance: Support regional growth, define markets and targets, manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee major project bids.
- Relations Worldwide: Foster relationships with regional directors, participate in international meetings, and promote cooperation across Egis entities.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in strategic and operational management, with a technical or consulting background.
- Proven leadership in international, matrix organizations.
- Strong commercial and financial skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Additional Information
Location: Preferred in Toronto; open to candidates across Canada or the US, especially in Eastern time zones.
