Bridge City Chrysler is hiring a General Sales Manager to join our team in Lethbridge, AB. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the variable department, driving business results and profitability while providing an exceptional customer experience and seizing growth opportunities for our dealership.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the variable department, training, supporting, and coaching sales and finance teams.
  • Managing inventory levels to optimize stock and rotation.
  • Analyzing market trends to determine and order the right stock.
  • Recruiting, onboarding, training, and managing employee performance, fostering talent development.
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and referrals.
  • Staying updated on manufacturer products and promotions and communicating changes to the team.
  • Collaborating with dealership leadership to identify opportunities and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in automotive sales and finance, including leadership roles.
  • Experience with Stellantis products is a strong asset.
  • Experience in appraising, purchasing, reconditioning, and marketing used vehicles.
  • Proven leadership in building cohesive, motivated teams.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and continuous improvement skills.
  • Results-driven with excellent planning, organization, and execution skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills, demonstrating tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism.
