Description
This role involves providing expert advice and technical assistance in data masking and subsetting projects, primarily using Oracle technologies. The consultant will collaborate with clients to improve IT systems, ensure data security, and meet audit and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to advise on IT strategies that meet business objectives and enhance system efficiency.
- Provide strategic guidance on Information Management & IT infrastructure, including major business process improvements.
- Offer subject matter expertise and technical assistance in data masking, subsetting, and Oracle database management.
General Skills
- Act as a technical advisor on project deliverables.
- Ensure quality assurance and control of deliverables.
- Anticipate and resolve issues to deliver within budget and quality expectations.
- Develop processes for implementing solutions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Work with clients to define project scope and requirements.
- Analyze IT requirements and recommend solutions.
- Design, test, install, and monitor new systems.
- Apply change management principles.
- Understand Information Management principles and policies.
Skills & Experience
Technical Knowledge (50%)
- Hands-on experience with Oracle data masking and subsetting projects, using OEM.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Expertise in implementing data masking in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Database 19c, Exadata, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of audit requirements and data privacy/security practices.
Methodology & Troubleshooting (30%)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in agile environments.
- Ability to document and communicate solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Perform code reviews and support testing and defect resolution.
Planning & Documentation (20%)
- Prepare work plans, reports, and technical documentation.
