The Challenge
We are seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer based in Chicago, reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering. Your role will involve sharing technical expertise to help increase sales and assess our platform for potential clients, ensuring we stand out from competitors.
Your Mission
- Serve as the technical expert for integrating different systems during major sales opportunities. This includes creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and delivering tailored demos that showcase how OneTrust’s systems can be linked to meet client needs.
- Participate in technical deep dives to design integrations and advise customers on best practices.
- Support sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration options.
- Coordinate with R&D, technical integrations, and partner teams to stay informed about product capabilities and future developments.
- Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations to demonstrate how our integrations meet client objectives.
- Utilize your knowledge of the privacy industry, including regulatory environments, to support all responsibilities. Keep current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and customer needs.
You Are
You possess a strong understanding of the privacy industry and regulations, using this knowledge to support your responsibilities. Staying updated on industry trends and customer needs is essential to succeed in this role.
Your Experience Includes
- Sales skills, software setup, and demonstration abilities. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in technology or enterprise cloud software.
- Experience implementing software solutions for enterprise clients.
- Familiarity with Docker and OpenShift.
- Advanced knowledge of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming.
- Ability to build relationships across R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
For candidates in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington, the annual base salary range is $104,325 to $139,100 USD, with compensation influenced by location, skills, experience, and education. Additional benefits may include bonuses, equity, commissions, and more.
