We are seeking a senior full-stack programmer for our Core Tech team, responsible for developing in-game features, out-of-game applications, and backend and frontend services to support our games. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both frontend and backend web technologies, with knowledge of C++ and game development being a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver backend and frontend features, developing new systems and refactoring existing ones to ensure speed, security, and scalability for millions of players.
- Fix bugs and resolve issues across features, addressing bugs of varying complexity and priority.
- Optimize performance and memory usage by profiling, detecting bottlenecks, and improving features.
- Write unit, functional, and load tests to ensure robustness and quality.
- Collaborate with team members, including programmers, tech leads, and other disciplines involved in game production and publishing.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack developer; experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
- Versatility as a full-stack generalist, comfortable working on various features across frontend and backend, with experience in C++ and game development preferred.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of NodeJS, Typescript, web frameworks (Angular/React), and AWS services is advantageous.
- Solution-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
