Description
Deliverables:
The Resource will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of infrastructure projects initiatives including service enablement’s, networking and new features proof of concept. Some of these will include designing, supporting and configuring SDN networking, securing network, colo and DR network improvements and supporting service delivery excellence including automations. They will also assist with complex Cluster solutions that require enhanced integration with cloud services, assist FTE builders with complex projects on-prem or in cloud and act as site reliability engineering as required. This Resource will also work on JTS projects including cage which will require enhanced security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve and support the day-to-day operations of on-prem infrastructure including integration and upkeep with cloud vendors, networking and optimization.
- Create and conduct activities on networking front.
- Support migration to new hardware and software stacks.
- Support LCM maturity by assisting in refresh strategy.
- Assist in process refinement, application performance improvements.
- Refresh of legacy environments.
- Assist FTE in complex client projects including design and build activities.
- Assist with incidents for mission critical applications as required.
- Guide integration team to enable networking and pipeline service.

Parameters:
- Extensive knowledge in deploying and managing core IT systems, including networks, firewalls, SDN and hypervisors.
- Proficient in Networking and VMware with hands-on experience.
- Building new infrastructure using automation based on design specifications.
- Integrating services such as identity management, logging, and monitoring.
- Generating reports as needed and facilitating skills and knowledge
