Job Title: SharePoint Framework Developer
Contract Duration: 13+ months (Extension possible)
Pay range : C$60 -70/hr
Location: Toronto, ON
Work Type: Hybrid, Anchor days are typically Mondays and Thursdays
Job Description:
- This position will be for an IT Software Engineer III with a focus on M365/SharePoint front and back-end web development, support, configuration, and maintenance of our Intranet applications.
JobResponsibilities will include :
- Full lifecycle application development.
- Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages.
- Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis, Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD), Software modeling and simulation
- Front-end graphical user interface design
- Software testing and quality assurance
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality
- Integrate software with existing systems
- SharePoint Framework Developer will evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
The candidate will need to have the following skills:
Front-End
- Experience working with SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
- CSS preprocessors like Sass
- JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, etc.
- Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON
- Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
Back-End:
- API design and development
- Microsoft and Web Technologies (.Net 6.0+, C#, ASP .Net, Entity Framework)
- Automating tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Database technologies like SQL Server, Oracle
- In-depth knowledge of the MS 365 apps like SharePoint Online, Teams, Viva Engage, etc.
- Microsoft Azure cloud services
Note:
- Our client is looking for someone who is a SME in Sharepoint and has recent relevant Sharepoint developer experience.
