NEUF architect(e)s | Permanent – full time
Reporting to the associate architect and as a member of a collaborative team based in Montreal, the intermediate or senior architectural technologist primarily works on residential and commercial projects, but may also be called upon to work on projects in other sectors (institutional, industrial, educational, etc.).
In addition to these responsibilities, the technologist undertakes the following key tasks:
- Assembly and structure of plan sets;
- Possibility of site supervision if interested;
While not mandatory, the following skills will be considered assets:
- Analyzing shop drawings;
- Coordinating with other disciplines;
- Ability to prepare an architectural estimate;
QUALIFICATIONS
French follows
- College Diploma (DEC) in Architecture;
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience;
- Knowledge of materials;
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations;
- Strong technical knowledge;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), AutoCAD, and Photoshop;
- Experience in high-rise projects;
- Familiarity with Revit software;
SKILLS
French follows
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service;
- Strong communication skills both orally and in writing;
- Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written);
