Who are we looking for?
Due to continuing growth in our Water/Wastewater practice, our EDO (Engineering Design Organization) is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Senior Design Manager – Water/Wastewater based out of the GTA or our Waterloo office .
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Responsible for managing multi-disciplinary project delivery for municipal water/wastewater projects to produce a compliant, constructible design in accordance with Client requirements, Operation and Maintenance requirements and Construction requirements
- Project Governance: Clarify roles and responsibilities within the project team and ensure project compliance with the organization’s wider program and/or portfolio management decision-making structures and processes.
- Budgeting: Responsible for managing the engineering design budget and providing key inputs to the Project Controls team.
- Performance Management: Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization’s performance management systems to improve personal performance. Or manage and report on team performance; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/
