Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop, recommend, implement, and manage the technical architecture (hardware, software, database, communications) for applications in a large, distributed, cross-platform environment.
Skills & Experience
Evaluation Breakdown:
- Cloud knowledge and experience – 40%
Experience designing and enabling the Government of Ontario’s clouds, primarily with Oracle, with some knowledge of Azure and AWS. Experience with cloud environments of similar scale to the Government of Ontario Cloud or BPS environments is required.
- Communications and Customer Service – 15%
Experience working with stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate, or document processes.
- Analysis and Problem-Solving – 15%
Experience troubleshooting Oracle Cloud environment incidents and collaborating with vendor partners.
Must Haves
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI), including infrastructure, design, and implementation.
- Security design within Oracle Cloud.
- Experience working within large, complex projects involving Oracle Financial Software.
