About The Job
Description of firm: We act for local governments, school boards, health authorities, universities/colleges, libraries, police boards and similar entities in British Columbia, Alberta, and Yukon. The firm is known for providing legal services in every area of law for our clients.
Qualifications
- JD/LL.B. degree from an accredited law school
- Membership in good standing with Law Society of BC
- At least 5 years call
- Experience in employment and labour legal practice; human rights and privacy experience desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional research and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in legal drafting and document review
- Advocacy experience in court, tribunal, ADR
- Ability to manage files independently and on budget, and to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Salary:
$135,000 (5-6 year call) to $200, year call)
