Job Summary
The Legal Counsel works on various corporate law matters related to real estate, construction, and energy to support Equinix’s business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on real estate transactions, manage disputes, and interpret contracts related to Equinix’s property portfolio across the Americas.
- Support the design and construction organization, including review and negotiation of agreements and dispute resolution.
- Assist with energy projects, including review of power purchase and infrastructure agreements.
- Manage legal projects, coordinate with external counsel, and develop standard documentation.
Qualifications
- JD or equivalent required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar roles, either in law firms or in-house legal departments.
- Active membership in a relevant state or legal association.
Additional Information
The targeted pay range varies by location, e.g., Toronto: CAD 136,000 – 204,000; Dallas: USD 155,000 – 233,000. Benefits include health, retirement, paid time off, and more, aligned with company values.
