We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our FSI Regulatory Compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team in controls documentation, conducting comprehensive control testing, compliance assessments, and risk management activities for FSI clients. You will work closely with clients to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
About the team
We are one of the largest Risk and Regulatory practices in Canada. The FSI Regulatory practice helps our clients understand and comply with evolving regulatory requirements.
What will your typical day look like?
- Lead and review controls design and documentation.
- Perform and oversee a team executing detailed controls testing and compliance assessments.
- Develop and oversee execution of testing plans.
- Identify control deficiencies, assess their impact, and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, risks, and controls.
- Conduct root cause analysis of control issues and work with clients to implement corrective actions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Lead and mentor junior team members.
- Identify opportunities, develop proposals, and manage key client relationships within the FSI sector.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA) is preferred but not required.
- 3-5 years of experience in controls testing compliance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analytics and audit software tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to client service.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $84,000 – $173,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
