Reporting to the NetSuite Consulting Practice Director, the Team Leader is a technical solution expert contributing to customer projects, as well as managing the practice and the people in his/her area of expertise.

What we value from our Team Leader, NetSuite Consultant:

  • University degree in software engineering, information technology, business or a relevant discipline
  • Knowledge of NetSuite
  • Experienced in all phases of a project: analysis, design, development, conversion, installation, training, support (2+ years)
  • Mastery of the tools, processes and best-practices related to the discipline
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members in the art of consulting
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French*
  • Knowledge of business processes
  • Management experience in a matrix-based organization is an asset

What’s a regular day for our Team Leader, NetSuite Consultant?

  • People Management (15%)
    • Act as a mentor by providing coaching and support to team members
    • Assist employees in the definition and progress of their career path
    • Conduct interviews for new team members joining the organization
    • Define quarterly and yearly employee objectives
    • Ensure employees’ well-being
    • Evaluate employees by following the Performance Management process
    • Inspire and motivate their team and co-workers
    • Provide technical training and oversee overall training program
    • Resolve employee conflicts quickly and efficiently
  • Operation Management (15%)
    • Assist supervisor in identifying appropriate resources to be assigned on projects
    • Assist his/her supervisor in optimizing the overall profitability
    • Optimize outcome of non-billable time of their team through effective training, continuous improvement or sale support
    • Support sales by evaluating projects, estimating work, providing technical content for RFP response and proposal, attending customer calls and visits to gather requirements and to perform technical presentation
  • Practice Management (10%)
    • Continuously look out for new technology that can or should be implemented
    • Identify, define, implement and promote best-practices, in collaboration with other Team Leaders and the Continuous Improvement Agency (CIA)
  • Project Contribution (60%)
    • Act as technical reference in his/her field during project problems resolution and escalation
    • Assist project managers with projects and technical resources requiring special attention
    • Contribute to customer project by performing requirements gathering and analysis, gap identification, solution architecture and design, development, configuration, validation, quality control, documentation and training
    • Respond to customer calls and provide immediate assistance for urgent requests
