Our Deal Advisory – Valuations team in Toronto is seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant, Valuations . The role involves preparing valuation models and reports for external clients and supporting the KPMG Audit Practice with valuation assertions during audits.
Responsibilities
- Support valuation assignments across transactions, financial reporting, and other services in various industries
- Oversee multiple engagements ensuring timely delivery
- Evaluate business plans, financial statements, agreements, CIMs, etc.
- Develop financial models, apply valuation methodologies, and conduct analyses using Bloomberg and Capital IQ
- Perform industry and economic research
- Create and review reports, memorandums, tables, and graphs
Qualifications
- Completion of CPA, CA designation; candidates who have substantially completed are also considered
- Interest in obtaining CBV designation
- Experience in accounting and valuations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation software
- Knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, US GAAP, and fair value concepts
