Join an established MD/OD practice in the Southern Ontario area. Seeking an OD extender lead with experience in a clinical and surgical setting. Full time position 4-5 days per week. Must have a passion for clinic and refractive surgery.
This position will act as a lead OD and will help oversee and coach new ODs added to the group. Experience with cataracts, refractive lens exchange, Lasik, smile, etc. is a plus. Practice offers a base salary + bonus structure based on overall growth and benefits.
OD will extend with the MD onsite to complete clinical days that will include consultations and follow-ups for cataracts, glaucoma, and other comprehensive patients. The OD’s focus is to help counsel and develop refractive plans with patients under the supervision of the MD. The OD will see post-operative refractive patients during surgery days or other days and help with triage, seeing any urgent patients as it relates to any refractive surgical cases.
