Overview
Under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Administrative and Medical Directors, the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging Strategic Growth and Expansion is responsible for developing, in collaboration with key stakeholders, and implementing the Diagnostic Imaging Strategic Plan. This includes executing major capital projects such as new Interventional Radiology, CT, and MRI. The role involves leading frontline and administrative teams to achieve strategic goals, focusing on advancing departmental capabilities through technology optimization, procedural redesign, and service expansion. The position also involves participating in the DI-on-call rotation.
Education
- Medical Radiation Technologist preferred or Registered Healthcare Professional background preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in health administration, business, or related field strongly preferred
- Project management experience required
- Experience in Diagnostic Imaging department is an asset
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years clinical management or leadership experience within a hospital setting
- Experience in leadership responsibilities and project management
- Proven ability to lead change and use data to improve efficiencies and support patient care
- Knowledge of Quality Standards
- Excellent facilitation, communication, team building, and problem-solving skills
- Good work and attendance record required
