Shared Health, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA), and the University of Manitoba, Department of Psychiatry are inviting applications for psychiatrists to fill labour shortages at Health Sciences Centre, Victoria General Hospital, and St. Boniface Hospital.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be providing clinical services to Mental Health inpatient units, outpatient clinics and consultation liaison services. You will provide clinical consultations as indicated for patients and participate in the Psychiatry On-Call service. Clinical teaching is a core function and students from a variety of disciplines rotate through our service. The inpatient psychiatrists are involved in teaching both residents and medical students.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a Doctor of Medicine Degree with specialization in Psychiatry. The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
Compensation
Compensation is derived from a combination of stipends and fee-for-service income.
