About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations and Projects Finance, the Manager, Projects Finance will be leading accounting, financial reporting, and short- and long-term financial planning functions for the Company’s significant projects during restart or construction phases and will have a crucial role in the managing the end-to-end accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes for these projects. This position is a hybrid role based at our Toronto, ON office.
The incumbent in this role will also be responsible to deliver the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long-term value models for these specific assets, and provide financial analysis to the corporate management team, as needed.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Responsible for the project accounting function and providing necessary coaching and support to the staff.
- Review and approve monthly accruals, journal entries and G/L
