About the Role

As part of the Energy & Sustainable Cities Business Line, the Nuclear Service Line has conducted major and complex engineering and construction management project for the main nuclear stakeholders around the world.

Our expertise has been continuously enriched by the lesson-learnt from 70 years of operations in the nuclear sector, especially in the past 10 years through innovative complex projects shaping the renewal of the Nuclear Industry.

In fact, providing our clients with world-class local and international expertise, including the most advanced methods for design, construction and operations is the DNA of Egis Nuclear Service Line.

The Nuclear Market Director is responsible for leading the Service Line’s commercial activities within Canada aligned to the Global Service Line & Regional Business Line Director strategic plan delivered through the local organization. This includes development & implementation of the Nuclear Service Line’s Strategy and Business Plan within Canada as well as Order Intake Targets, new services development and conversion to operations.

The position is a key element in connecting Egis Canada & its clients to the Global Service Line; and conversely connect the Global Service Line with Egis Canada & its specific local market dynamics.

Reporting directly to Canada Chief Commercial Officer, the Nuclear Market Director will collaborate with the Canada Energy Service Line Director and operational staff, Canada Commercial Team (including Marketing and Tender Unit), as well as with Canada Finance Team.

  • Establish the Business Plan for Nuclear in Canada, with a step-by-step implementation.
  • Implement a Go-To-Market Strategy based on the Business Plan, together with a detailed Commercial Action Plan.
  • Coordinate and deliver the related Business Development activities.
  • Evaluate and plan for current and future market conditions.
  • Align the strategy to take advantage of any changes or opportunities, industry trends & break through innovations.
  • Complete a commercial and competitiveness analysis (technical & financial) with regards to the identified activities.
  • Plan & implement effective strategic marketing campaigns, following both Global Nuclear Service Line marketing strategies & local marketing strategies.
  • Deliver all activities as part of the Commercial Process from opportunity identification, business development, pre-positioning, proposal coordination, interview to contract negotiation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of nuclear projects with other company initiatives, and ensure Quality and Client Satisfaction.
