About the team you are joining
The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) Program Office is responsible for the implementation, delivery, and continuous evolution of the IOSA Program worldwide.
We seek a Senior Manager, Auditor Management and Training, to manage the auditor management and training strategy of the IOSA program. The Senior Manager will report to the Head, IOSA.
What your day would be like
- You will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive IOSA auditor management and training program with responsibilities that include:
- Auditor planning to ensure the IOSA auditor pool, across all disciplines, meets the needs of an expanding IOSA program.
- Recruitment and onboarding of auditors managed to deliver on timelines that meet program demands.
- Auditor performance management to ensure the program maintains and grows its reputation as an industry gold standard in safety auditing.
- Development and delivery of initial and recurrent auditor training programs based on industry best practices to ensure all auditors remain current with required qualifications.
- Continuously improve the IOSA training proposition to ensure auditor competencies remain current with the latest program developments.
- Support activities to grow the program across the global airline industry.
- Develop and deliver commercial training addressing industry stakeholders such as airlines, as needed.
We would love to hear from you if
- You have 7 years’ experience within a regulated, safety-critical industry, with preference given to those with operational airline experience relating to Flight Operations, Ground Handling, Quality Assurance, Safety.
- You have demonstrated experience managing a pool of experts, such as auditors, with experience as an IOSA or ISAGO auditor and/or instructor an advantage.
- You have proven experience delivering training both in a classroom environment and virtually.
- You possess excellent communication, presentation skills, and stage presence.
- You have excellent English language skills; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- You have strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Project management knowledge or experience is a benefit.
Travel Required: 5%
