The Director of Product Support – Material Handling provides leadership and direction for Brandt’s parts and service support functions. Responsible for leading a team of Regional Customer Support Sales Managers and growing Material Handling parts and service sales. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in sales management, be dedicated to outstanding customer service, well organized, and capable of leading a motivated team. The ideal candidate will have relevant education and experience along with a proven track record in the material handling product support business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key player in the growth and development of the product support program, the Director of Product Support Sales will lead a team of Regional Customer Support Sales Managers (RCSSM) to develop and execute regional sales strategies and key objectives. This position will ensure accountability for product support sales growth and customer engagement.
Sales Process
- Own overall Strategy and Annual Business plans with objectives to achieve sales and margin growth.
- Manage Sales Processes such as Call reporting, CRM, and target setting.
- Establish key KPI’s for CSA’s and measure regularly.
- Analyze and implement proper coverage for the region.
- Engage and support large Fleet accounts.
- Analyze Reports to provide insight and feedback to guide performance of CSA’s and branches.
- Support development of overall Parts and Service Sales strategy.
- Monitor CSA incentive program to ensure effectiveness.
- Implement comprehensive succession plan for RCSSMs and CSAs.
- Identify and implement Best Practices across Regions.
- Gather Market Intelligence on competition, customers, and segment trends.
- Analyze sales and margin data to identify opportunities.
