About the Role : We seek a Business Systems Analyst to support our Data as a Service (DaaS) team in delivering data solutions for AML compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed data analysis, mapping, and lineage tracing across financial crime data sets.
- Design and document data transformation logic and workflows.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to understand data needs for KYC, CDD, EDD, Transaction Monitoring, Alerts & Cases, and Customer Risk Ratings.
- Translate business rules into data logic for engineering teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role focused on data.
- Experience working with AML-related data: KYC, CDD, EDD, transactions, alerts, cases, customer risk scores.
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
- Bonus: SQL proficiency, familiarity with structured/unstructured data.
- Bonus: Experience with compliance platforms like Actimize, SAS AML.
- Familiarity with Agile, Jira, Confluence.
- Strong communication skills, bridging business and technical domains.
- Banking experience is required.
