Position Overview:
Multimatic Niche Vehicles (MNV) is seeking to recruit a Vehicle Quality Inspector to perform inspections on in-process and finished build vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing in-process inspections to ensure that vehicle builds meet the high-quality standard set by MNVPerforming final inspections to ensure that each vehicle meets customer standards prior to being shippedEnsuring that all in process builds and end-products meet regulatory requirements as specifiedStrong ability to participate in problem solving and root cause analysis on the shop floorCommunicate inspection results to plantPrepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing dataComply with relevant health and safety legislation and company health and safety practices
Education and Experience
Quality relevant or Technical college certificationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to coordinate, prioritize and multitaskDemonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environmentUnderstanding of structured quality problem solving tools and documentationsAbility to take initiative and recognize needs as requiredHandle highly sensitive and confidential materialMinimum of 3 years automotive experience, OEM(s), Tier 1 & Tier II. With good understanding of fit and function and assembly processes with technical competenciesMust have reliable transportationSound knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMSProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPointGood understanding of PPAP, PCP and PFD will be an asset
