Location: Toronto, ON (3x Onsite a week)

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Developer with 6+ years of experience in Android app development using Kotlin. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Android TV/Google TV, Fire TV, and Android Apps in general. The role demands solid knowledge of architecture patterns, Android Studio, REST APIs, Jetpack Compose, and a passion for building high-quality mobile applications in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
- Build apps compatible with Android TV, Google TV, and Fire TV
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bugs and optimize app performance
- Use design patterns like MVC and MVVM
- Parse JSON and integrate with REST APIs
- Implement UI using Jetpack Compose
- Write and maintain unit test cases
- Use Git for version control and JIRA for task management
- Publish apps on the Google Play Store
- Collaborate in Agile teams and follow CI/CD practices using Jenkins and SonarQube
