Description:
UPL is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Canada Ag business, responsible for driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. The role involves partnering with commercial leadership, supporting budgeting, forecasting, sales incentive management, and operational performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analyses, variance analysis, and profitability assessments; develop budgets and forecasts; monitor financial performance and provide insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to control costs, identify savings, and participate in review meetings.
- Support product sales and contribution analysis with Marketing.
- Review rebate payouts with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for management.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support decision-making.
- Manage audit requirements for the business.
- Oversee Sales Incentive Plan in partnership with HR and S&OP teams, reporting on targets and achievements.
- Identify system improvements and efficiency projects.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related; MBA or certifications like CFA/CPA preferred.
- 7+ years in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, preferably in a business partner role.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
