Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr – $140,000.00/yr
Description
Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for a Full Stack Software Engineer with a focus on backend integrations for financial data. This role involves building secure and scalable wealth management platforms, integrating with banking data providers like Plaid, SaltEdge, MX, and Meld. The ideal candidate is experienced in developing secure, efficient system connections and passionate about fintech and user-centered design. Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure APIs and backend services for third-party banking platform integrations
- Write maintainable, test-driven backend code using TypeScript, Node.js, and Python
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments on AWS
- Ensure integrations are scalable, resilient, and secure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial data workflows
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development, especially in financial data integrations
- Strong API design skills (RESTful and GraphQL)
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and testing frameworks
- Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and CI/CD best practices
- Experience in fintech, banking, or wealth management is preferred
- Problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments
