We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our team!
This is a 16-month contract opportunity.
Support the Fixed Income Team in achieving its objectives related to Canadian and US government bond markets, expense recoupment, trading costs, and liquidity for asset trades.
Responsibilities include:
- Portfolio management: monitor, analyze performance, risk, rebalancing, and implement investment strategies.
- Conduct research on fixed income markets to support investment decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with fixed income investments, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.
- Execute trades in Canadian and US short-term money market securities and similar instruments across multiple accounts.
- Collaborate with teams across the firm including Risk, Treasury, Investment Finance, and IT.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Knowledge of interest rate markets.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Python, SQL, Bloomberg, and data platforms like Snowflake.
