In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for our client in Toronto. Work setting is within a private home.
Italian speaking
Weston Rd. & Rogers // two 4-hour shifts per week
As an IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client-focused care.
How you will spend your days:
- Basic Meal Preparation
- Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADLs)
- Light Housekeeping (IADLs: vacuuming, laundry, dishes, etc.)
- Medication Reminders
- Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Responding to emergency situations
- Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers
Success in this role:
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Foreign Nurse
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
- Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)
- Documentation skills
- Ability to follow client care plan
- Strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour.
