Description
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and implementing front end code including user interface interactions and creating attractive and effective user interfaces.
- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications, including developing detailed programming specifications, writing code, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software use, including providing technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.
General Skills
- Experience in programming, analysis, and support of specialized software packages.
- Ability to collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience in structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience in design, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.
- Proficiency with object-oriented and/or third-generation programming languages.
- Experience with application design, deployment, troubleshooting, relational and hierarchical databases, and information retrieval.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A team player with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Front End Skills: Experience with web interface creation, cross-browser compatibility, responsive frameworks, Social Media APIs, and product strategy.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Internet-ready application programming, rapid application development, and information management principles.
- Experience with middleware, product installation scripts, accessibility standards, and user/system documentation.
Skills & Experience Requirements
Technical Skills 30%
- Experience with Agile, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, RESTful APIs, Jamstack, Progressive Web Apps, responsive design, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CSS frameworks, DevOps, headless CMS, and front-end functionalities.
- Ability to translate system specifications into tested applications, develop specifications, write code, test, and troubleshoot.
Experience 30%
- Experience with Azure, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, REST APIs, structured methodologies, application design, deployment, troubleshooting, and integrations with systems like Azure AD B2C and Okta.
Communication Skills 10%
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and clarity in design and development explanations.
Must Haves
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, RESTful APIs, and Jamstack Architecture.
