Manager, FP&A at a glance
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid (3 days in-office)
The Finance Manager, FP&A for the Canada Business Unit is responsible for the full P&L and for driving the monthly FP&A agenda. The role also supports the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Planning cycles for their respective platform. This team member is a key link between the Marketing, Sales Planning, and cross-functional Finance teams, and reports directly to the Associate Director of FP&A + Strategy.
What’s on the menu?

Lead FP&A for Canada, with oversight of all categories and responsible for understanding and influencing both revenue and cost drivers (full P&L responsibility)

Execute the monthly actualization process including P&L variance analyses, insights, and issue resolution

Support the Demand Review process including partnering with marketers on demand forecast inputs and validating driver assumptions

Run the monthly forecasting process to project and explain financial performance on a rolling 18-month basis

Support the build of the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plans

Analytical assistance on business results and achieving financial targets via data-driven insights and recommendations

Modeling, analytics, and preparation of management summaries and presentations

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field, MBA a plus
-
5+ years’ experience, in a complex environment with escalating levels of responsibility. CPG experience is an asset.

Demonstrated strong analytical skills, understanding of financial statements and broad business acumen as well as strong Excel technical skills desired

Prior Function, Category, Corporate FP&A and/or BU experience preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Ability to work autonomously and think independently

Ability to coach, develop and help team prioritize

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$100,300.00 – $125,400.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
