In the role of Project Architect, you’ll:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and perform layout and detailing on architectural projects.
- Coordinate work across teams through all project phases.
- Participate in owner/client meetings and reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
- Conduct work sessions at project sites with project managers and other disciplines.
- Manage workload to ensure timely completion of documents.
- Review architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
- Perform QA/QC and technical reviews.
- Write and edit architectural specifications.
- Coordinate with disciplines on addenda, RFIs, CPRs, change orders, and incorporate changes into documents.
- Lead projects in dual management roles as needed.
- Provide construction contract administration as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Experience in education, science, or research facilities.
- Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Registered Architect.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk Revit.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in architectural contract documents, codes, and planning.
- Active participation in our employee-owned culture is essential.
