Role: Developer – Emerging Technologies (Big Data, Mobile, Cloud, RPA) – GCP Cloud Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Candidate Requirements / Must Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience managing a public cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS) with expertise in Foundational and Data services.
- 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, including best practices for access control and least-privilege policies.
- 5+ years of DevOps experience, building CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub and Artifactory.
- 10+ years of IT experience in managing and developing scalable, reliable, and secure applications or platforms.
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-managed Data and Analytics services, including data warehousing, lakes, ETL, machine learning, or data governance.
- 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Go, or Java, and scripting skills (shell, Python, Perl, Ansible).
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience managing Hadoop clusters (Cloudera, Dataproc, Hortonworks).
- GCP Cloud Associate certification (desirable).
- Experience with Docker, including registry management and creating Dockerfiles.
- Experience setting up Kubernetes or similar platforms, on-premises or cloud.

Education & Certificates:
- Degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Management, or relevant field.
Best vs. Average Candidate:
The ideal candidate has hands-on Terraform experience, implementation skills on AWS, Azure, or GCP, is thorough, knowledgeable, a self-starter, and takes pride in their work.
