Overview of the role:
At PolicyMe, we are modernizing insurance in Canada. We are a remote-first startup based in Toronto, aiming to disrupt the traditional insurance landscape. We seek a motivated Licensed Life Insurance Advisor to educate customers, handle advanced cases, and guide them through our products via phone, SMS, and email.
Key responsibilities include:
- Becoming an expert in life, critical illness, and health & dental insurance products through training.
- Serving as the first contact for prospective customers.
- Addressing customer questions and guiding them through the insurance process.
- Using consultative sales techniques to match customers with suitable products.
- Collaborating with team members to solve complex issues.
- Participating in coaching, learning, and mentorship opportunities.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Managing inbound leads in Hubspot.
Qualifications:
- Valid LLQP license as a Life and Accident & Sickness insurance agent.
- 1-4 years of experience in insurance or related fields.
- Proven sales performance and ability to communicate complex concepts.
- Team-oriented with a growth mindset.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Quebec-licensed advisor.
Additional details:
- Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 OTE.
- Includes benefits, stock options, PTO, and remote work options.
- Requires background, credit, and reference checks.
