This role is with a company that is a leader in the video streaming industry. This role is great for someone located in Canada looking for a remote role.
You Will:
- Designing, building , and running the data infrastructure to support the Video organizations growing data needs.
- Promoting best practices, and improving the quality of the internal data products inside the video organization.
- Suggesting , anddefending solutions to make the video data platformbest in class .
- Develope scalable RESTful services using Go
- Manage large scale AWS based infrastrucuture
You Have:
- 5+ years of experience buildinglarge scale reliable data backends, in collaboration with diversestakeholders .
- Experience distilling complex requirements into scalable solutions.
- Experience promoting best practices by example, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Working with Amazon Webservices, S3, EMR, Redshiftetc.
- Experience working with GoLang, Apache Spark, or Apache Flink architecture
