Our banking client in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an IT Risk and Control Testing Senior Analyst for a 12-month contract role.
Responsibilities
- Perform risk-based testing activities to evaluate the design and effectiveness of controls, supporting the first line of defense Internal Control Testing and Monitoring for AI&O.
- Identify and mitigate regulatory risks and operational issues.
- Maintain operational and key control procedures.
- Execute control testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of CNB’s first line key controls.
- Analyze, document, and report on testing results, issues, and recommendations.
- Understand CNB’s Internal Controls Management Policy, testing methodologies, and compliance standards.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
- At least 6 years of hands-on control testing experience.
- At least 6 years of IT risk or audit experience.
- Experience in documenting control testing processes.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of FINRA, SEC, OCC regulations.
