We’re Hiring! Our Moncton office is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Assurance and Accounting Team. This role is ideal for a candidate based in the Greater Moncton area who is ready to take the next step in their career with a growing and dynamic firm.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage year-end engagements and the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns for clients across various industries;
- Prepare working papers and financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards (audit, review, and compilation);
- Ensure high-quality work through effective prioritization and attention to detail;
- Develop strong client relationships, respond to inquiries, and liaise with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on behalf of clients;
- Act as a trusted advisor by collaborating with clients on a range of business matters;
- Support business development efforts and contribute to the growth of the firm;
- Provide regular progress updates and proactively identify issues;
- Mentor, coach, and support the professional development of team members;
- Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and engaging work culture;
- Bilingualism in French and English is considered a strong asset.
Qualifications
- CPA designation valid in Canada required;
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a public practice environment;
- Solid technical knowledge in assurance, accounting, and tax;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Proven leadership experience and a collaborative mindset;
- Experience with CaseWare, Taxprep, Sage 50, Xero, and QuickBooks is an asset.
