Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant (Permanent)
Location: Ottawa, ON, CA, K1P 5E7
Onsite or Hybrid:
Expected Salary: $65,514 to $98,271

Responsibilities:
- Support budget and forecasting activities, including:
- Maintain and update the annual 5-year budget process
- Build and maintain the 12 month rolling forecast
- Update and maintain weekly short term cash forecasts
- Working with Project Managers (PMs), Cost Control and Head of Departments (HODs) to identify budget needs
- Reflect Group requested changes to budgets as needed
- Maintain Financial Planning and Reporting (FP&A) system (Vena) for all business units and departments
- Assist with reporting activities, including:
- Budget to rolling forecast movements / variance analysis
- Provide inputs into line of business reviews
- Other tasks as needed
The ideal candidate brings:
- You hold a post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA designation an asset.
- You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a financial role.
- You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems.
- You are able to plan, prioritise and deliver to firm deadlines.
- You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner.
- You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
