We are passively seeking skilled Lead Tableau Developers to join our team in anticipation of future hiring needs. While the demand for this role has not yet been realized, we are eager to build an engaged pipeline for future needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Tableau dashboards and reports. This role requires a deep understanding of data visualization principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business insights.
What will your typical day look like?
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Tableau dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that data visualization solutions meet their needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
- Develop complex data models and calculations to support advanced analytics and reporting.
- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business value.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior Tableau developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends to ensure the team is leveraging the most effective tools and techniques.
- Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data integrity and accuracy in all visualizations.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $80,000 – $120,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
