THE TEAM
The mission of the Real Estate Development Creative Design Team is to develop the creative vision and design of our world-class physical environments.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Real Estate Development Team, you will be responsible for driving the execution of Aritzia’s spaces throughout the Design and Technical phases. The Director, Creative Store Design, leads the end-to-end design execution of retail projects, ensuring alignment with Aritzia’s creative vision and high standards of quality and consistency. This role provides leadership to a team of designers and technical developers and oversees cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are creatively ambitious, technically sound, and operationally feasible. This position offers opportunities for growth within Real Estate Development and at Aritzia.
THE ROLE
As the Director, Creative Store Design, your responsibilities include:
- Managing project development and delivery, ensuring collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
- Providing strategic direction and technical excellence for consistent, compliant project execution.
- Working with Business Support partners to lead departmental functions, support corporate objectives, and foster career development and employee satisfaction.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven skills and certifications in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.

THE COMPENSATION
The typical salary range for this position is $150,000-$200,000 CAD annually, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications. The role may include bonuses and equity. We value diverse qualifications and offer flexibility in scope and salary based on individual credentials.
