What Does a System Development Engineer Do at Amazon?
As aSystem Development Engineer withinAWS Security , you will develop and maintainrobust, scalable systems at the core of Amazon’s global security infrastructure. Basic Qualifications for System Development Engineer at Amazon
We are looking for individuals who meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development (non-internship).
- 3+ years of experience in designing or architecting scalable systems.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such asC++, Java, Python, orPowerShell .
- Experience withCI/CD pipeline build processes and systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience withnetworking, storage systems, and operating system administration .
Preferred Qualifications for Increased Career Advancement
The following skills are highly desirable, though not required:
- Experience withWindows automation using PowerShell.
- Deep understanding ofActive Directory and large-scale Windows deployments.
- 4+ years of programming experience with modern languages such asC#, Ruby, orGolang .
