Construction Site-Manager (f/m/d)
The seele group is considered the technology leader in innovative roof and façade constructions. seele’s 1,000+ employees realize pioneering building envelopes and structures for modern architectural milestones worldwide, e.g., the West Block Rehabilitation Project in Ottawa, the Grand Halle Place Ville Marie Glass Skylight in Montréal, or the TEC Bridge in Toronto.
Toronto-based seele canada Inc. creates unique façade projects within Canada. The team relies on the expertise within the seele group and therefore covers the entire spectrum of consulting, planning, production, and installation. Shaping the transition from our initial to the next generation of site management, we are looking for a Construction Site-Manager (f/m/d).
Your tasks
- On-time and on-budget execution of high profile metal & glass projects
- Day-to-day organization & operations of building construction sites
- Schedule site activities in logical steps & time required to meet deadlines & budget
- Review and adaptation of installation concepts
- Deliver consistent & high-quality work
- Conduct risk assessments; report identified risks to management; provide recommendations for mitigation of risk
Your profile
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Minimum of five years metals & glass structure construction experience
- Ability to manage construction sites in a hands-on fashion
- A positive attitude and willingness to equip and encourage co-workers
- Ability to critically look at craftsmanship
- Bilingual English/German a plus
- Authorized to legally work in Canada
