Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our team and help design intuitive and user-centric products powered by AI. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how users interact with our AI-driven solutions, ensuring they are both functional and delightful to use. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to bring ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities
User Research and Insights:
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to inform design decisions.
Design Process:
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences for AI-driven products and services.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex AI functionalities into simple, visually appealing designs.
- Work closely with product managers to align design with product vision and business goals.
- Partner with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to team members and stakeholders.
Usability Testing:
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate designs and iterate based on user feedback.
- Ensure all products meet accessibility standards and are inclusive for a diverse range of users.
Brand Consistency:
- Maintain and evolve Karbon Digital’s design system to ensure consistency across all products.
- Contribute to the visual identity of the company’s products and marketing materials.
Innovation and Trends:
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our design practices.
- Experiment with innovative design approaches tailored to AI applications.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in product design, preferably in AI, SaaS, or tech industries.
- Proven experience designing user-centric products with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and accessibility standards.
- Ability to work with data-driven insights to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS) is a plus.
