Description
We are seeking a Database Administrator responsible for planning and deploying MS SQL servers on cloud and on-premise servers, along with general health and capacity monitoring. Key responsibilities include:
- Load balancing of servers.
- Routine maintenance including database rebuilds, re-indexing, expansion, and archiving.
- Resolving MS SQL server problems and assisting in application problem resolution.
- Upgrades and migrations.
- Database code promotions and data fixes.
- Recovery and backup management.
Qualifications:
- Typically, a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in application support or a related field.
- Proficiency in front-end and back-end programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with database management and network systems.
