We are recruiting on behalf of a leader in their industry, currently seeking a recently qualified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from a large accounting firm for this position, which is open due to promotion.
Key responsibilities and oversight:
• Collaborate with various stakeholders through the forecasting process and budget updates
• Assist with pre and post acquisition activities including due diligence and financial integration
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial packages including value-added analysis and commentary
• Complex accounting around critical estimates such as revenue recognition and acquisition accounting
• Assist with ad hoc projects including analytical reviews, variance analysis, and other growth initiatives
• Coordinate with corporate team during quarterly and annual financial closes to ensure financial accuracy
• Prepare reporting and provide analysis on the income statement, balance sheet, and other metrics
• Coordinate with portfolio businesses for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
The company is offering a competitive compensation package for this level including an attractive base salary and annual bonus program. Full remuneration details will be disclosed to all candidates under consideration.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in public accounting
• Experience auditing companies reporting under IFRS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
