We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our Learning and Development team, focusing on developing innovative learning solutions and applying adult learning best practices to enable user adoption of enterprise systems and digital technologies. This leadership role involves guiding the design and development of strategic learning solutions for clients, with responsibilities including the delivery of training materials related to Enterprise software (JD Edwards) and managing standards for training documentation and performance support tools.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Training Documentation & Performance Support Tools (Oracle Guided Learning, Captivate, WalkMe, Camtasia, Articulate, etc.) and Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors). This role requires project management skills, including designing, developing, and delivering course materials, as well as continuously improving training content based on feedback and assessment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Training Needs Analysis and consulting with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Developing training strategies and standards
- Creating and maintaining project plans for training development
- Coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure resource availability
- Managing curriculum review and quality assurance processes
- Planning and delivering various training methods (blended, eLearning, virtual)
- Monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness and ROI
- Managing training budgets and team development
- Addressing specific training problems and tailoring programs as needed
- Staying updated on training trends and best practices
Required Skills:
- Part-time contractor role, 20 hours/week, located in Toronto, Canada
- At least 3 years in a Training Manager Lead role for enterprise systems implementation
- At least 5 years designing and delivering instructional courses
- 2+ years in a consulting role
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and training documentation tools
- Understanding of business processes in ERP software (Finance, Logistics, HR)
- Proven project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and instructional design skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely with SMEs
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and certifications
