The DB2 Developer for Fraud/AML Application will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database systems and stored procedures in support of fraud and anti-money laundering (AML) applications. This includes DB2 and Oracle database development, performance optimization, cloud-based database integration, and scripting for automation. The ideal candidate will bring 5–8 years of experience, strong proficiency in database architecture, and experience working in financial or banking domains.
Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop efficient and scalable database solutions using DB2 and Oracle for fraud detection and AML systems.
  • Write, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL and stored procedures for high-performance transaction processing.
  • Analyze data models, design database schemas, and define data dictionaries to support system integration and analytics.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain Unix Shell, Bash, and PowerShell scripts for automation and system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate database components into broader application architecture.
  • Implement and support cloud-based database technologies and ensure compatibility with on-premise systems.
  • Participate in data migration, transformation, and loading activities (ETL) as required.
  • Apply DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery of database components.
  • Document processes and provide support for deployment and post-implementation activities.

Technical Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience with DB2 and Oracle development.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL, stored procedure creation, and SQL performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, architecture, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficient in scripting: Unix Shell, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and methodologies (CI/CD, automation pipelines).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Have

  • Prior experience in the Banking sector, especially in Fraud or AML-related projects.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $29.59/hour – $46.23/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
