The Global Business Intelligence Team, part of the Global Retail Sales Enablement Function, provides in-depth analysis, commentary, and reporting solutions for key stakeholders including senior management, sales leadership, wholesalers, marketing, product, and finance. The team ensures data integrity through a robust stewardship program and supports seamless end-to-end reporting processes to maintain data quality and consistency.
The Role
This position involves collaborating with partners and technology teams to scope, analyze, and design solutions within our tech stack, managing development from discovery to delivery. Responsibilities include translating business needs into analytic solutions, developing detailed sales and CRM reports, and visualizing data using tools like Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, and Power BI. The role supports business intelligence initiatives by analyzing past performance, identifying target segments, recommending products, and aiding sales strategies based on assets, sales, redemptions data, and market trends. It also involves regular financial and distribution reporting, including compensation tracking and goal monitoring.
Position Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be an analytical problem solver with a general understanding of financial services and operations, proactive and adaptable, capable of understanding business context and technical delivery. Experience with BI tools, data flows, and a collaborative approach to delivering value are essential.
Discovery & Analysis:
- Business analysis and use case development
- Gathering and developing requirements through sessions and interviews
- Data exploration and synthesis from multiple sources
- Comfort with ambiguity and problem-solving attitude
Design & Development:
- Understanding system design, analysis, and user testing
- Developing and supporting dashboard reporting solutions
Partnering & Collaboration:
- Building strong relationships with business partners and vendors
- Understanding functional needs and delivering solutions
- Influencing and negotiating to meet deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense, Alteryx
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and process mapping tools like Visio
- Strong communication skills across organizational levels
